With modern engines and efficient driving, we strive for sustainability.

Our art shipments are carried out in air-suspended and air-conditioned vehicles, are GPS-monitored, and equipped with a courier seat. The transport, receipt, and handover of the objects are fully documented.

BFAS Belaj Fine Art Service GmbH ensures timely delivery of all objects and, if necessary, also handles the associated customs documents, visas and permits, other formalities or administrative procedures.

BFAS has its own carpentry workshop, where we produce the optimal packaging solution for each object according to individual requirements. As an approved manufacturer of IPPC packaging according to ISPM Standard No. 15, we ship worldwide as all the materials we use are eco- and conservation-friendly.

This allows us to seamlessly and ad-hoc produce secure, protective, and optimal packaging based on our own experience or in consultation with the client. We have already developed new packaging systems in collaboration with the conservators of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation in Berlin.

For 30 years, Belaj Fine Art Service GmbH has been installing, positioning, and hanging the various objects and art pieces entrusted to it. Regardless of shape, style, weight, or material, we treat each order with the utmost care and responsibility, securely installing each painting and placing each sculpture in the location specified by the client.

At BFAS’s headquarters in Berlin Neukölln, a 25,000 sqm fully air-conditioned art warehouse is located.

With good traffic connection, it features several ramps and a large, low-vibration freight elevator. The art storage facility offers various storage options, including large individual storage units, individually partitioned and opaque storage units, shelving systems, and specialty boxes. Additionally, a spacious showroom for presentations, viewings, and photo shoots is available.

The fully air-conditioned system maintains a constant temperature of 18-20°C and a humidity level of 50-55%. Individual areas can be customized upon request.

The art storage facility is VDS certified with security class C and is accessible during flexible opening hours via a discreet storage and retrieval service.

Whether it is IT-supported inventory of all objects and items, scanner-optimized storage and retrieval, complete warehouse management, the acceptance and processing of your loaned objects and, if desired, the mediation and support of conservation and restoration measures.

The showroom in our secure warehouse offers our customers the opportunity for presentations as well as optimal conditions for creating professional images. We can also assist in arranging professional photographers.
